Broad receiver Josh Gordon was added to the Seahawks list on Monday, but on Tuesday he announced he will not be in the lineup when they meet the Aries this weekend.
Gordon went back on the excluded list because he has not met the conditions for his resumption from a suspension for violating the league’s drug abuse policy. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll did not detail what caused Gordon’s status to change, but suggested he could be able to play for the team in Week 17.
“Definitely disappointed not to have him for his sake and for many things, but we will keep at it and we will see what happens next week, ”Carroll said via Curtis Crabtree from KJR and PFT.
Gordon will be able to attend team meetings and train individual training programs, which was also the case during the first two weeks of his conditional reinstatement.
