John Mulaney’s bizarre Seth Meyers clip before rehab got fans worried

Fear of cartoon John Mulaney’s sobriety and mental health began after he made a bizarre appearance on Seth Meyer’s show, wearing dark glasses and calling Prince Harry a “stupid ginger” and Meghan Markle a “silly goose.”

In the clip, which was sent to YouTube on November 24, Mulaney – who Page Six exclusively revealed has checked into rehabilitation for cocaine and alcohol addiction – hosts a fake “Royal Watch: News from the Real-Life ‘Crown” ” segment and joker that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got annoyed with COVID because it took all the media attention away from their Megxit “stunt”.

Mulaney – wearing a curly, oversized coat and sunglasses – said Harry was “the real dunce in this adventure … You stupid ginger, don’t let your title be just because you don’t like your 94-year-old grandmother.”

“That’s the definition of something you’re waiting for, gangsta. I’m pretty sure Dad’s time will sort out the case of the very old female woman who had 30 months to live, ”he said, before adding,“ Ahh, too evil. ”

After Meyer brought up Princess Diana’s death, Mulaney – who eventually took off her sunglasses to reveal dark, blistering eyes – said of Meghan: “You know, it’s weird, not true that Meghan and Harry left?

“You thought it would be fun to roll with those doors in church clothes? Had you been told it was non-stop laughing? Because you’re thinking of ‘The Munsters’, you silly goose. ”

He continued, “Just the fact that she wanted to leave the royal family because they were like ‘be proper and sit still’ … So do not marry into the family of the most jive-ass boring people ever, and be so like ‘Oh, shall we play Never Have I Ever? ”

Mulaney also adds of himself, “In fact, I’m simple and difficult,” before Meyers is forced to describe to him how Google News’ algorithm works.

At the end of Mulaney’s wandering speech, drawn by long pauses, Meyers said – who had previously asked him to “start again” and inexplicably asked him to spell the word “sheriff” – future, if you just want to talk things like this out, a phone call might be better … We’ll see what of this we can use, but it can only be online. ”

Mulaney adds, “The next ‘Royal Watch’ will be a little more focused … Thank you Seth, and as one student reporter once wrote about me, ‘Thank you for the laughter, albeit virtual.'”

A viewer on Twitter said about the clip after Page Six revealed that Mulaney had been going to a rehab in Pennsylvania for 90 days, “If you’ve seen @sethmeyers recently, you should have known something was up.”

Another wrote“Three weeks ago, I felt there was something serious * off * about John Mulaney’s appearance on Seth Meyers.”

Yet wrote another commenterafter the news of Mulaney’s period in rehab, “He just seemed a lot out in this segment and I was very confused, it was weird to see and see him like that, but it makes sense now, unfortunately.”

A source told us that Mulaney was “out of his mind” regarding drugs around the time the segment was registered, and that raised major concerns about his health. Mulaney’s rep declined to comment.

“For everyone else, it was not so clear that he was struggling, but he has been a stone to so many other people that everyone knows he should get the help he needs.
